Every store. One click. You keep the money.
The Publisher pack produces your audiobook and publishes it to Audible, Spotify, Apple, Google, Kobo, and the libraries. Lex takes no royalties.

How it works.
- 01
Buy the Publisher pack.
One quoted price, paid once. It covers scored production, a full cast, and publishing on every open store. That is the whole Lex fee.
- 02
Approve the audio.
Nothing goes live until you have listened. Fix a name, a line, a pace. Then we upload everywhere, with the AI-narration disclosure set on every store that asks.
- 03
Get paid monthly.
A five-minute secure link collects bank and tax details. Stores pay Lex; Lex forwards everything it receives, with a per-store statement.
Lex is publisher of record and you never open a store account. Prefer the keys yourself? We set accounts in your name instead, about an hour once, and the stores pay you directly. The fee is the same either way.
Where each dollar goes, store by store.
Each store keeps its own share first. What it remits is net. The distribution partner keeps 20% of net, Lex keeps nothing, and the rest is yours. Spotify is uploaded directly, so no partner fee applies there. The bars use each store's published rate on a $10 list price, verified September 22, 2026.

Every store an AI-narrated title goes to.
The partner's send list for an AI-narrated title, plus the Lex Store. Subscription and library stores pay by time listened or per checkout, so there is no single percentage to print for them; you still receive 80% of whatever they remit.

The store shares above are what each store, or the largest audiobook distributor, publishes for that store. The partner does not publish its own per-store contract terms and pays 80% of what it receives. Audible on this path is a wide listing, so the exclusive Audible rate does not apply. Your monthly statement shows each store's gross, its share, the net, and your 80%. A store that declines a title is skipped and the rest go ahead.
The rest of the partner network.
On the distribution agreement but not yet open to AI narration. The partner adds each one to your title as it opens.

Listed is not the same as listened to.
Amazon Virtual Voice and Google auto-narration run one automated pass and keep the files on their platform. Spotify and the other streaming stores pay on listening time, and a flat robot read is easy to skip. Lex casts a narrator for the book, directs the performance, scores and mixes it, and hands you the masters. Same affordable idea. A listen people finish.
The full comparison is on the Virtual Voice alternative page.
Doing it yourself.
The Studio pack gives you the masters and a commercial license. If you would rather publish them yourself, this is the route.
- 01
Go direct where you can.
Google Play Books, Kobo Writing Life, and Spotify for Authors each take a direct upload with a metadata flag for AI narration.
- 02
Cover the rest in one wide submission.
One submission reaches Audible, Apple Books, Everand, Storytel, and the library systems, flagged as digital voice narration.
- 03
Sell direct to your readers.
BookFunnel, Shopify, or Payhip on your own site keeps 90% or more after processing. Your Lex commercial license already covers it.
- 04
Disclose the narration everywhere.
Every platform that accepts AI narration asks for the flag. Hiding it is the only way to actually get in trouble.
